About Me

I’m a journalist based in Toronto, covering foreign policy, politics and gender.

After completing my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics, I worked as an editorial assistant for The World Today magazine, published by Chatham House, and as a politics producer for London’s Sky News. In Toronto, I’ve worked as a producer for the CBC’s fifth estate and CTV News Channel.

Most recently, I was the senior editor for OpenCanada.org, an award-winning international affairs digital publication, where I spent months at a time writing longform pieces that put a spotlight on women charged with crafting and executing foreign policy — foreign ministers, diplomats, peacekeepers, intelligence officials.

My work has taken me to Ottawa, New York, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Tokyo, among other places. My first book, about Canadian deputy prime minister Chrystia Freeland, will be out in February.
